Simon&Garfunkel concerts postponed

The Metro Centre will be filled with the sound of silence next month.

Legendary folk-rock duo Simon and Garfunkel have postponed their back-to-back concerts scheduled for May 17 and 18.

A statement on their website says Art Garfunkel is suffering from vocal strain and the entire North American tour has been put on hold.

The shows have been rescheduled for July 24 and 25.

Metro Halifax reports ticket holders for the May concerts will have their tickets honoured at the July events.
