The spring sitting of the Nova Scotia legislature has ended, but MLAs are still waiting for the auditor general to release a forensic audit of expenses.
Jacques Lapointe is expected to release the report within days and it’s believed it will contain information that could trigger a police investigation.
Premier Darrell Dexter says he’ll release the names of any MLAs who were targeted in this second, more in depth investigation of expenses – though it’s not clear whether Lapointe has identified the people who were investigated.
