The Nova Scotia government is gathering public opinion in advance of developing its own responsible gaming strategy.
Finance Minister Graham Steele explains the province is launching a website Thursday where people can offer comments.
“To allow everybody and anybody in Nova Scotia to have their say, to know who to contact,” says Steele. “We’re interested in all points of view. It’s part of the background of developing a good gaming strategy.”
Steele says he won’t pre-judge what focus areas the strategy might have.
Deadline for responses is June 30 with the results expected to be released in the fall.
