The lineup is set for the Halifax Rocks concert on the Common this summer – and music fans in Halifax say they’re delighted with the range of offerings.
The two-day music extravaganza will be headlined by Kid Rock and the Counting Crows on Friday along with the Black Eyed peas and Weezer on Saturday.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, and HRM residents tell News 95.7 they’ll be buying.
“I think it’s a great lineup, I’d love to see most of those bands,” said one man.
Tickets start at $99 for general admission and there’s a $169 two-day pass – though everyone we talked to said they’d pick one day or the other.
“Geez, I’ll probably buy tickets for the second night,” said Hannah. “I just like Weezer a lot, and the Black Eyed Peas, I admit.”
Everyone we spoke to said the $100 admission fee for one day was more than fair, considering the number of acts.
The headliners will be joined by Tonic, Daughtry, Hot Hot Heat and local favorites the Jimmy Swift Band, the Stanfields, Rich Aucoin and Classified.
