Man spotted committing indecent act in city’s south end

Halifax police are still looking for a man who was seen performing an obscene act in Halifax’s south end on Sunday morning.
Halifax Regional Police Sergeant Kevin MacNeil says a man was spotted fondling himself outside a residence on Ogilvie Street.
“A complainant observed a man in the area of 5600 Ogilvie Street behind a fence with his pants down to his ankles,” said MacNeil. “The suspect ran off with the complainant following him, eventually locating him again nearby. When the complainant attempted to contact police using a payphone he lost sight of the suspect.”
Police couldn’t find the man when they arrived. He’s described as a white male in his 20’s with short blond hair. He was last seen wearing beige cargo shorts, a ball cap, hoodie and white sneakers.
