Two hospitalized after separate stabbings in Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a pair of stabbings in Dartmouth.

Around 8 p.m. Thursday, three men got into a fight in the parking lot of the Nantucket Road McDonald’s over money. One pulled out a knife and stabbed another in the chest and arm.

The 20-year-old victim is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 17-year-old Cole Harbour boy is facing aggravated assault and weapons charges while a 20-year-old Dartmouth man has been charged with theft and as an accessory to the stabbing.

Officers also got a call earlier in the evening from someone reporting that a man had been stabbed and was in hospital. Police found a 19-year-old at the QEII being treated for non-life threatening stab wounds. It’s not clear when or where he was attacked.
