Body found in Fleming park identified

Police are releasing the name of the man whose body was found Monday afternoon at Sir Sandford Fleming Park.
The man has been identified as 61-year-old Richard William Scudder of Halifax.
An autopsy was done yesterday afternoon, but it won’t be complete until additional test results are received.
There are no apparent signs of foul play, however, police are treating the matter as suspicious until the cause of death is determined.
