Fall storm headed for Maritimes

A sizeable fall storm is headed for the Maritimes.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement warning about a low pressure system that’s headed up the eastern seaboard.
News 95.7 meterologist Richard Zurawski says it’s a storm that will keep you indoors this weekend.
“It’s a big one,” he said. “It’s going to be giving us probably 30 to 40 mm of rain and the winds will be gusting around 70 or 80 kilometres an hour. Late tomorrow afternoon, you’ll see some clouds move in and you’ll see the temperatures jump substantially to 13, 14, 15 or even 16 degrees. It’s going to be very mild, wet and windy.”
Zurawski says the low pressure system will be followed by another, which will be followed by the remnants of Tropical Storm Tomas on Sunday – meaning the soggy, warm conditions will persist throughout the weekend.
