Bedford Dome Rink vandalized

Staff at the Bedford Dome Rink on Rocky Lake Drive are working to put the roof back up after vandals struck the facility sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Police tell News 95.7, a Sackville RCMP officer patrolling the area on Thursday morning around 8:30 noticed a problem.  When he investigated, he noticed the vinyl fabric on the roof had been slashed several times.

Police are now trying to determine if there might be surveillance footage of the area they can use.  They are also asking the public for assistance, asking that if anyone driving in the area Wednesday night or Thursday morning who may have seen something, give them a call.
