Groundhogs agree: spring is just around the corner!

The North American Groundhog Day verdicts are in and all three prognosticators agree that winter is just around the corner.
Shubenacadie Sam emerged from his burrow at Shubenacadie Provincial Park this morning and did not see his shadow.
That means, according to lore, that there are just two weeks left until spring.
Sam was followed closely by Wiarton Willie in Ontario and Punxsutawney Phil in Gobbler’s Knob, Pennsylvania, who also emerged under cloudy skies to be greeted by cheering crowds.
