Canucks get post-season help from the Moose

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Help is on the way for the Vancouver Canucks as they prepare for Round 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Canucks have called up both Cody Hodgson and Victor Oreskovich from the Manitoba Moose.  Vancouver has to play the first two games of the series without suspended winger Raffi Torres.

While the Canucks get help for the playoffs, the Moose start their playoffs without Hodgson and Oreskovich.  Vancouver will also have to play the first two games of the series without suspended winger Raffi Torres.

After closing out the regular season with a pair of home-ice losses to the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Moose were relegated to third place in the North Division standings and find themselves facing the Lake Erie Monsters in the opening round of the best-of-seven Calder Cup playoffs.
