N.S. gas prices set to climb

It’s a long weekend, and that can mean only one thing where gas prices are concerned.
News 95.7 is predicting an increase of about a penny a litre when regulated prices are reset tonight.
Regular self-serve is currently selling for $1.33.2 in metro.
In New Brunswick, regulated prices went up by 1.9 cents overnight, while diesel prices fell by just under a penny.
Oil prices have increased 20 per cent since the beginning of the year, and they just keep rising.
Benchmark crude climbed above $112 U.S. a barrel in electronic trading in Singapore this morning, following a more than three-dollar jump to close Wednesday in New York at $111.45.
