Police search for suspect in failed robbery attempt

Police are searching for a suspect after an attempted robbery at the Quick Way on Inglis Street Friday night.
They report it happened shortly after 8 o’clock.
A man entered the Quick Way located at 5465 Inglis Street, produced a knife and demanded money, but he fled the store before getting any money and left the scene.
The area was checked but police were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’5″, thin build with short dark hair and some facial hair.
He was wearing a t-shirt with purple horizontal stripes and had a blue back pack.
