Man dies in canoeing accident

A man has died in an apparent canoeing accident near Upper Musquodoboit.
RCMP say a 55-year-old man went out on Mill Lake by himself this morning. Later, family members saw an oar float past. The man was also discovered.
The family called 911 and EMS and fire services responded. They were not able to revive the man.
He was pronounced dead at 11:30am. The man’s name has not been released.
