Irene was the storm that wasn’t for most of the Maritimes. Although it was a bit windy and there were some power outages, we escaped unscathed. We chat with meteorologist Richard Zurawski on what happened to Irene. Also, the NB Power and NS Power representatives update us on outages. Brad Marchand’s day with the cup was today – there was a parade and a celebration today. We chat with mom Lynn Marchand. Sackville-Eastern Shore MP Peter Stoffer recaps the state funeral for Jack Layton that at some times had the feel of a political rally.
