Gas prices expected to hold steady

We’re not expecting any major changes at the pumps this week – if there’s any change at all.

Some yo-yo action on the markets this week means there’s room for regulated gas prices to fall a little tonight but News 95.7 is predicting prices won’t budge.

New Brunswick’s regulated gas prices fell by 2.2 cents a litre overnight to a new maximum of $1.235, while diesel prices came down by 0.4 cents.

In Toronto, where prices are not regulated, gas went up by 2.6 cents a litre on Tuesday night and down by 1.9 cents a litre last night. Gas is now selling for $1.242.

Regular self-serve is currently selling for $1.233 in metro.
