Halifax man sentenced to five years for armed robbery

A Halifax man has been sentenced to more than five years in prison for robbing a man at gunpoint.

The crime happened last December in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

Cody Alexander Muise was convicted of robbery, forcible confinement and breaching a weapons prohibition.

Court heard the victim was beaten by three males and had a gun put to his head.
