N.S. gas prices expected to fall

It won’t be a big drop, but gas prices should be on the way down this week.

News 95.7 is predicting regulated prices will fall by one to two cents a litre tonight, moving the price of regular self-serve to $1.20 or $1.21.

In New Brunswick, gas prices fell by 1.5 cents a litre, to a new maximum of $1.219. Most stations will sell for a couple of cents less.

Diesel prices also dropped by a penny and half a litre to a new maximum of $1.345.

In the unregulated markets, prices went up by two cents a litre overnight. The average price in Toronto is now $1.18 a litre.
