Four people arrested in separate break and enter cases

Halifax police have charged four people in relation to separate break and enters overnight.
The first happened at 10 o’clock at the Dartmouth Secure Self Storage on Green Village Road.
Police report a small group of people broke in, cut the locks off some storage units and went inside.
Two adult men, aged 18 and 20, were found inside the compound and they tried to escape, but were arrested after a brief foot pursuit.
A 34-year-old woman who was in an awaiting vehicle parked along the 111 Highway near Portland Street was also arrested.
All three are expected to be charged with 15 counts of break and enter due to 15 individual storage units being entered.
Meanwhile, at 10:50 police responded to a report of a suspicious person possibly attempting to break into a vacant resident in the 3700 block of Bright Street in Halifax.
A 47-year-old man was arrested without incident and will be charged with trespass by night and five counts of breach of probation.
