Two men charged after drugs, gun seized

Halifax police have taken a gun off the streets.

At around midnight Friday, police executed a search warrant at a home on Sylvia Ave.

Their search turned up a firearm and a small quantity of drugs which were seized.

Three people were arrested at the scene but one was subsequently released without charges.

A 19-year-old man and a 25-year-old man are still in police custody and are facing numerous weapons and drug related charges.
