St. Patrick’s celebrations turned violent outside a Dartmouth bar overnight after a stabbing that sent a 47-year-old man to hospital.
Just before at 2:30am, police responded to the parking lot of the Parkside Pub and Grill where witnesses told them an argument between two men had turned physical, and that one man had pulled a knife and stabbed the other several times.
A 23-year-old man was taken into custody.
He’ll be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial court Monday morning facing charges of, attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
The victim was taken to hospital with numerous stab wounds where he remains in stable condition.
