Morris House on the move again

From surveyor’s office to communal hub for emerging artists to a home for families in need, Morris House — the oldest wooden house in Halifax — is moving again, this time to the corner of Charles and Creighton Streets.
The move, in November or early December, will be its third since Morris House was built in 1764 for one of the city’s founders.
Heritage groups plan to turn the historic structure into, energy efficient, affordable housing for young people.
It’s scheduled to reopen in its new incarnation in September of 2013.
