Canadian actress and comedienne Carla Collins and filmmaker Joe Mari stopped by to talk about their short film “Pizza Bagel,” which they are taking to the Cannes Film Festival. It will also be shown in Times Square at the New York City International Film Festival in June.
“Pizza Bagel” takes a charming and hilarious look at an inter-family culture clash. Joe and partner Michael Pillarella plan to expand the short into a feature film.
Carla is a regular fixture on the Toronto Comedy scene and you can next see her May 4 at the Flying Beaver Pubaret in Toronto.
