Driver dead after second highway accident

A second highway accident on Saturday has claimed another life.
RCMP Sgt. Al LeBlanc says a 25-year-old man is dead after his car rolled over on Highway 329 near East River Point, near Chester, around 9:20 last night. LeBlanc says there were four people in the vehicle and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The three others were transported to the QEII hospital, one was air-lifted while the other two were taken by ambulance. One of them is in serious, but stable, condition.
RCMP say it appears the vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert, rolled and struck a power pole, coming to rest on its roof. LeBlanc says the driver was originally from Toronto, but had recently moved to Nova Scotia. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
There have been four deaths on highways in Nova Scotia since Friday.
