Maritime Bus starting airport service

There will be a new way to get to the Halifax Stanfield International Airport on Monday.

Maritime Bus will start running a service to and from downtown Halifax and Dartmouth, with stops at hotels and universities.

The cost will be $22.00.

Owner Mike Cassidy says there is a need for the service.

“We fell we have a different service at a different price point,” explained Cassidy. “It’s not the highest or the lowest, but our research shows there is a need for that price point and that type of service.”

You can purchase tickets at a sales kiosk located at the airport, but Cassidy says your best bet is to book ahead online.
