Charges in south end racing incident

A biker who broke some bones in a crash in Halifax has been charged with racing and four other offences.
Police allege the 35-year-old man was speeding Tuesday along Young Avenue when he hit a parked car.
Police say the man has also been charged with driving while his licence was revoked, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance and displaying a plate issued for another vehicle.
Witnesses told police the motorcycle was racing with a small white car that drove away from the scene. Police are still looking for the car, which is described as a Mitsubishi, that has the steering wheel on the right side.
