Overcrowded Hal-Con event leaves fans upset

HALIFAX, NS– It seems the largest Sci-Fi convention in Atlantic Canada is more popular than the organizers initially thought.

Hal-Con says they had to turn people away yesterday after the event at the World Trade Convention Centre in Halifax reached capacity.

Organizers say they believe having day passes available without specifying a day may have been a contributing factor to the problem.

Hal-Con apologized and were offering refunds for those who did not get in.
