Missing Dartmouth man found, taken to hospital

Police are thanking the public for help in finding a missing Dartmouth man.

53-year-old Joseph Johnny Carrier had last been seen leaving his home on Penhorn Drive at 5:30 a.m. Thursday in his 1999 red Ford Taurus.

Carrier never arrived at his Pleasant Street workplace.

Police said Friday that someone who heard the request for help noticed Carrier’s car on Shore Rd. in Dartmouth and called police.

Carrier was inside and appeared unwell. Paramedics took him to hospital.
