Police say they will use every available resource to catch bad guys, including freshly fallen snow.
Regional police officers were called to a Needs convenience store on Lacewood Drive just after 1:00 a.m. after reports of a break in.
The officer arriving on the scene spotted a suspicious set of foot prints in the new snow leading from the store to an apartment on Dawn Street.
With the help of the police dog, they followed the trail and caught up with a suspect, who they took into custody.
A 32-year-old man is now facing charges of break and enter.
