Gas prices up in Nova Scotia

The price of gasoline has gone up in Nova Scotia.

The UARB has moved the price per litre up by 1.9 cents to a new minimum price of $134.1.

There is good news for those needing diesel fuel.

After the provincial regulator invoked the interrupter clause earlier this week to raise the price of diesel to $150.6, they lowered it overnight by 2.7 cents to a new price of $147.9.

Last year we were paying $1.35 for gasoline and $1.39 for diesel.

Oil was trading at $95.83 U.S. a barrel which is about two dollars less that yesterday’s closing price of $97.84.
