Price jump at the pump

The price at the gas pump jumped overnight.

The UARB used its weekly adjustment to move regulated prices up by 3.4 cents to $136.8 a litre.

The increase means that a 50 litre fill up will cost you $1.70 more today that it would have yesterday.

Better news for those needing diesel, fuel prices fell overnight by 1.8 cents a litre to a new minimum price of $145.4.

Last year we were paying $1.38 for gasoline and $1.43 for diesel.

Oil was trading at $97.31 U.S. a barrel.
