Small drop in gas prices expected at midnight

Another small drop in the price of gasoline is on the horizon.
Our newsroom is predicting that when the UARB adjusts prices at midnight, prices will fall by about a cent.
George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7 high oil inventories and a slowdown in refinery production are keeping the markets flat.
“Refineries are running around 86%, so you can tell from that particular number there’s a little bit of a slow down when it comes to refining,” said Murphy.
Across the border in New Brunswick gas prices are up this morning with the maximum price for regular self-serve increasing by 7-10ths of a cent to $137.6
