Another gas price increase expected at midnight

Another week, another increase in gasoline prices in Nova Scotia.
Our newsroom is predicting that when prices are reset at midnight tonight the price per litre will increase by about 2 cents a litre.
George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7 he doesn’t believe the reports that we will see record high prices this summer.
“I don’t think the consumers are going to allow this to happen, I think they’ll start conserving relatively quickly and I can see some sort of a halt to increases in prices,” said Murphy.
New Brunswickers are digging deeper to fill up the car this morning, that province’s regulator moved the maximum price up by 4.5 cents a litre to $140.7.
