A panel tasked with reviewing the province’s school system wants to hear from you.
The education review panel has posted a comprehensive survey on the province’s website and panel chair Myra Freeman said it covers all manner of issues related to education.
“We’ve asked questions on curriculum, we’ve asked them on multiculturalism, we’ve asked whether there’s satisfaction that the schools are meeting the needs of all students,” said Freeman.
Freeman said about 17,000 Nova Scotians have filled out the survey since it was launched in April and hopes a few more will have their say before it closes this Friday.
“If Nova Scotians have opinions and views, then we need to hear those. And if we can capture as many of those as possible, then we will have a lot to work with when we prepare the report,” she said.
That report is due to be presented to the education minister in October.
