An argument over the weekend escalated into a scary incident in Dartmouth Saturday afternoon.
Police say just before 4 p.m. two men were in an argument on Lahey Road, when one of them left the scene.
That man returned a short time later and pulled a shotgun out of his trunk of his vehicle.
Another person intervened and manage to wrestle the weapon away from the man.
Police arrived on the scene and took a 46-year-old man into custody on a number of weapons related offences. The unidentified man will appear in court at a later date.
