Gas price decline to continue

Another drop in the price of gasoline is expected for Nova Scotia.
Our newsroom is predicting that when regulated prices are adjusted at midnight they will fall by about 3 cents a litre.
George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7 the continued fall in the price of oil is largely responsible for the drop, and the United States is behind the declines.
“The Saudis have lost control of what prices are going to be dictated in the marketplace,” said Murphy. “The United States with its system of delivery and with the amount of domestic production that it has right now are the ones calling the shots.”
Gasoline prices fell overnight in New Brunswick, that province’s regulator moved the maximum price for regular self-serve down by 2.4 cents to 95.9.
