A tour bus is a total write off after catching fire in the north end of Halifax last evening.
Fire crews were called to the old Acadian Lines bus depot on Almon Street around 7 p.m. last night after the cab of an Ambassatours bus caught fire.
Bus line president Dennis Campbell tells The Chronicle Herald he believes the source of the fire to be electrical in nature.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the fire, but a cleaning crew was working outside of the vehicle when the flames broke out.
Campbell says because the bus was outside of the building when the bus caught fire, the building itself only sustained minor damage.
