Police say the truck that flipped over after 6:30 p.m. yesterday at Pinegrove Drive and Theakston Avenue, was fleeing another accident scene on Herring Cove Road.

By the time officers arrived, the driver had run off.

When police caught up with him, they say the man admitted to being involved in the collisions.

He has been charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000, along with several motor vehicle violations.
