Screaming Eagles edge Moose 5-4

The Halifax Mooseheads were defeated by the Screaming Eagles in Cape Breton on Sunday afternoon with a final score of 5-4.

The two teams were tied at 4 until there was just 0:37 left in the third period when Cape Breton’s Olivier LeBlanc scored the go-ahead goal for the win.

Halifax’s Nikolaj Ehlers picked up four points with three goals and an assist. Danny Moynihan has a goal and an assist.

The Mooseheads will be back in action on Friday, March 13 as they travel to Bathurst to take on the Titan.
