Halifax Pride Parade street closures

The annual Halifax Pride Parade takes to the streets of the city Saturday.
The route will take the procession from the Halifax Dockyard on Barrington Street to Spring Garden Road. It will then follow Spring Garden to South Park, then onto Bell Road where it will wind up at the Garrison Grounds.
To make room for participants, streets will be closed to traffic at least a block in either direction from the route, with shutdowns starting at 12:30.
There will no parking anywhere along the parade route, all affected streets are expected to reopen by 4 p.m.
at the latest.
Halifax Transit is also re-routing several buses during the event.
The parade gets underway at 1 p.m., a half hour earlier than previous years.
