Halifax Regional Police say a man died after reportedly falling off the roof of a downtown parkade.

They say it happened around 12:51 p.m. Thursday at Granville and Blowers streets.

Someone who was in the area at the time was performing CPR when officers arrived, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene by EHS.

Police say they are investigating, but there is no information to suggest foul play.
