Cody Charles Lemoine arrested in Toronto

Halifax Regional Police say they have located Cody Charles Lemoine.

Police say the 23-year-old was arrested in Toronto on Saturday, September 19th.

Investigators with the HRP/RCMP High Risk Enforcement Action Team travelled to Ontario to bring him back to Nova Scotia.

They issued a warrant for his arrested after he failed to appear in court last week on assault charges and three breaches of court orders.

Those charges were laid after an incident in Dartmouth on June 26th.

He had been convicted of violent offences in the past, including the sexual assault and forcible confinement of a jogger in Shubie Park in June 2011.

He will appear in Dartmouth court today to face one count of failing to attend court, six counts of breach of recognizance, four counts of breach of peace bond, and two counts of breach of probation.
