Small change expected in gas prices

HALIFAX – Not much change expected to gasoline prices in Nova Scotia this week, as News 95.7 predicts when regulated prices are reset at midnight they’ll fall by about one cent per litre.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices tells NEWS 95.7, there wasn’t a lot of movement in the oil and gas market in the last seven days.

“It was kind of a funny week where nothing happened, that’s the best way to describe it,” Murphy said.

Gas prices in New Brunswick fell overnight, as the province’s regulator moved the price for regular self-serve down by 2.5 cents per litre, to a new maximum price of $1.02/L.
