BOSTON, MASS – The Boston Bruins will be without the services of Hammonds Plains native Brad Marchand for the foreseeable future after he suffered a head injury over the weekend.

Marchand sustained a concussion during the Bruins’ game with the Montreal Canadiens at Boston’s TD Centre on Saturday night.

Bruins head coach Claude Julien said the team must follow the NHL concussion protocol, and there’s no timeframe for his return to the lineup

Marchand has not made the scoresheet this season and has received only 2 penalty minutes in the two games he has played.
