Report: ‘Sleepwatcher’ released from prison

HALIFAX – A man known as the ‘sleepwatcher,’ has been released from prison and living in Halifax after being released on parole.
According to Global News, Barry Edward Sinclair will be living at the Community Correctional Centre.
Sinclair, 52, was recieved a five year prison sentence in 2013 for breaking into a number of apartments where young women lived and watching them sleep.
He has an extensive criminal recording dating back to the 1980’s, and parole documents obtained by Global reveal most of the crimes are sexually motivated offences.
The Parole Board of Canada has deemed Sinclair a high risk to re-offend in a sexual manner.
