Men on bikes arrested after two people robbed

Halifax Regional Police have two men in custody after two people reported they were robbed by a pair on bicycles.
An 18-year-old man says he was walking on Coburg Road near the Dalhousie campus just before 11 p.m. Tuesday, when two men wearing masks on bicycles pulled a knife and took off with his stuff.
Within an hour police received similar report from a 32-year-old man who was walking on Mumford Road near the Halifax Shopping Centre, he says two men on bikes threatened him with a knife and cycled off after getting his personal property.
Just after midnight, police arrested a 21-year-old and a 22-year-old in the area of Bayer Road and Roman Avenue.
The men have been charged with robbery with violence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon and disguise with intent.
In addition, one of the men is charged with uttering death threats, both will appear in court today.
