Moose trade Fitzgerald to Shawinigan

The Halifax Mooseheads have begun their look towards the future, moving defenceman Cavan Fitzgerald in a weekend trade.
The blueliner is now a member of the Shawinigan Cataracts after the Moose traded him on Saturday in a deal that will see 16-year-old Jocktan Chainey come to Halifax, along with a 3rd round pick in next year’s draft.
Fitzgerald was credited with 58-points in his time in Halifax.
