Slight drop in gas prices

The price for gasoline is cheaper across the province today.

Provincially regulated prices dropped by 7/10ths of a cent at midnight, moving the minimum price down to 88.3.

The same cannot be said for diesel, fuel prices were raised by 1.3 cents driving the minimum price up to 85.3.

At this time last year, we were paying 93 cents for a litre of gasoline and 1.05 for diesel.

Oil was trading on the markets at $44.49 U.S. per barrel,  just over $10 more than yesterday’s closing price of $34.06.
