Three charged after traffic stop, hotel search

Halifax Regional Police say they have arrested three men after a traffic stop north of Citadel Hill.

They stopped a car around 3 p.m. on January 30th near Gottingen Street and Rainnie Drive.

Officers say they found marijuana and cash in the car, which led investigators to search a hotel room on Wyse Road, where they found more pot.

A 47-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both from Edmonton, Alberta, and a 42-year-old man of no fixed address all face trafficking charges and will appear in court at a later date.
