RCMP investigate Hubley robbery

HUBLEY, N.S. – While investigators don’t believe it was a random act, Halifax District RCMP are looking for a man who arrived at the door of a home in Hubley with a gun over the noon hour on Thursday.
Police say they responded to a robbery at a residence on St. Margaret’s Bay Road where a man produced a gun, before demanding the home-owner’s cell phone.
No one was injured and police say the man ended up leaving the scene in a black Volkswagen sedan.
While the investigation continues, RCMP want anyone who may have information about the incident to contact them, Halifax Regional Police or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
